Field guidance with flexibility Timing defines every location

You move through Cusco, Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley with a clear focus on light and positioning. Each stop is planned to avoid peak hours and improve shooting conditions. This is not a fast checklist. You stay longer, adjust compositions, and work each scene with intention. The result is a stronger and more complete visual story.

YOUR ITINERARY

Day 1
Cusco City & Sunset Views | Full-day

Start with a walking photography session through Cusco streets.

In the morning, explore selected streets with controlled light and fewer people. You follow a planned route with key locations.

As light becomes stronger, move into markets. This allows indoor photography, textures, and architectural details.

Free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, visit Qoricancha for a short session focused on contrast and structure.

Continue through quieter streets before heading to two viewpoints.

End the day with sunset and a long exposure session overlooking the city.

Day 2
Machu Picchu | Full-day

Train to Aguas Calientes. Quick stop before entry.

Afternoon entry to Machu Picchu for a 4-hour guided session.

This timing helps reduce crowd pressure and improves shooting space.

You work both classic frames and alternative compositions.

After the visit, return to the Sacred Valley.
Transfer to your hotel.

Day 3
Sacred Valley

Start in Ollantaytambo with street and site photography. Then move to valley viewpoints for layered compositions.

Continue to Moray to work circular patterns and elevation changes.

Drive to Maras town. Explore streets and photograph a local family.

Lunch break.

In the afternoon, photograph salt mines with better light direction. Finish at Huaypo Lake for sunset.

Return to Cusco in the evening.

Day 4
Mountain Landscape Photography (Option A or B)

Early pickup between 2:00–3:00 AM.

Option A — Rainbow Mountain

Early hike to reach the viewpoint before crowds.

Photograph sunrise as light reveals terrain and color layers.

Optional extension to Red Valley for additional compositions.

Return to Cusco in the afternoon.

Option B — 7 Lakes of Ausangate

Hike through multiple lakes with mountain views.

Work reflections, textures, and wide compositions.

Return to Cusco in the afternoon.
