Photography Peru Tours was born out of a passion for combining adventure, photography, and cultural heritage. As a guide for adventure tours since 2018, I noticed a recurring challenge: photographers reaching Peru’s most stunning landscapes without proper timing for ideal lighting or the flexibility to explore unique angles.
With a deep connection to the Andean mountains where I was born, I decided to create itineraries specifically tailored to photographers. My years of exploring the mountains have given me intimate knowledge of Cusco’s most photogenic locations, including hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path destinations. As a photographer myself, I understand what it takes to create a shot that tells a story, and I bring this perspective to every tour.
At Photography Peru Tours, we aim to share the wonders of Cusco’s underrated landscapes and rich cultural heritage through photography-focused journeys. Our itineraries are designed with photographers in mind, ensuring you capture each destination in its best light and season.
We emphasize sustainable tourism, following Leave No Trace principles, respecting every place we visit, and fostering gratitude toward the land and its people. Each tour includes cultural experiences like enjoying local Peruvian cuisine and connecting with the locals we’ve built lasting relationships with. Whether you’re a beginner or professional, adventurer, or off-the-beaten-path explorer, our tours are crafted to inspire and feel like home.
At Photography Peru Tours, we see a future where travel and photography contribute to the communities we visit and protect the landscapes we love. Our goal is to evolve into a socially responsible tour company, giving back to local communities through initiatives like supporting indigenous education, empowering local artisans, and promoting sustainable tourism.
By blending road trips, comfortable camping, and treks to non-touristy locations, we aim to create unforgettable experiences for photographers while fostering a deeper connection to Peru’s landscapes and people. Together, we can preserve the beauty of Cusco for future generations and inspire others to travel with purpose and care.
