7:00 am - Hotel Pickup for Red Lakes, Ausangate, and Rainbow Mountain Photography Tour: Begin your tour with a scenic 4-hour drive to the Chilca region, the trailhead leading us deep into the Andes.
Lunch with Scenic Views: Enjoy a warm lunch while taking in stunning views of the Andes, surrounded by snowy peaks, alpaca-dotted valleys, and the iconic Ausangate mountain.
Begin the Hike to Our First Photography Spot: The Red Lakes, Ausangate, and Rainbow Mountain tour offers breathtaking vistas right from the start. As we begin hiking, take in the sight of the majestic three peaks and stunning valley views, perfect for drone and landscape photography.
Photography Stops along the Way: We’ll pause at multiple points to capture the charm of alpaca and llama farms, all set against the Andes’ dramatic backdrop, ensuring unique compositions at every step.
Arrive at First Scenic Photography Spot: After a one-hour hike, we reach our first scenic viewpoint. This location is ideal for sunset and blue hour shots, allowing you to capture the Andes in all its evening splendor.
Sunset Photography: Capture the last light as it illuminates the mountains and valleys with vibrant colors, followed by blue hour shots for a serene, magical atmosphere.
Return to Camp for Dinner: Hike back to camp under the glow of headlamps, ready to refuel with a warm dinner and review your photos.
Rest and Prepare for Day 2 of the Red Lakes, Ausangate, and Rainbow Mountain Tour: Rest up for an early start as we continue exploring these incredible landscapes on the second day.

Early Wake-Up for Red Lake Sunrise Photography: Start the day with an early wake-up call to capture the dawn colors over Red Lake. This lookout offers an incredible view for landscape photography in the soft morning light.
Fuel Up with Breakfast: Enjoy a warm start with hot coffee, oatmeal, or hot chocolate before we begin our hike to Palomani Lookout at 4,900 m (16,270 ft).
Hike to Palomani Lookout: This 3-hour ascent brings us to the summit, where we’ll spend time capturing panoramic shots of the Andes and Red Lake from a high-altitude perspective.
Return to Camp for Brunch: After our morning photography session, we’ll head back to the campsite to refuel with a hearty brunch before setting out for our next destination.
Drive to the Next Lookout Trailhead: A 30-minute drive brings us to the starting point of our second lookout hike of the day, with more opportunities for capturing unique compositions.
Hike to Afternoon Lookout: The hike to this lookout point takes approximately 3 hours, and we’ll stay at the summit through dusk to make the most of the evening light. This location is perfect for both drone shots and on-the-ground compositions.
Hike Down to Camp and Dinner: Return to camp for a cozy evening with a light dinner, allowing for a restful night. If weather permits, we’ll also take advantage of the clear skies for astrophotography.

DAY 3 PUCA QOCHA - ALQATARY - RAINBOW MOUNTAIN SUNSET

Early Morning Hike for Sunrise Photos: Begin with an early wake-up to hike 20 minutes to the lookout point, where we’ll capture the stunning sunrise as the light fills the landscape.
Peruvian-Style Breakfast with a Scenic View: After sunrise, enjoy a delicious Peruvian breakfast, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.
Photo Opportunities and Optional Hike: As we continue our hike, we’ll stop at various photogenic spots. Experienced hikers can opt for an additional hike to a lookout point with a remarkable 360-degree view.
Drive to the Next Campsite Near Rainbow Mountain: After our morning shoot, we’ll take a 35-minute drive to our next campsite, located closer to Rainbow Mountain.
Lunch at the Campsite: Our cook will prepare a delicious, homemade Peruvian lunch, giving us the energy needed for the rest of the day.
Hike to Rainbow Mountain for Sunset: In the afternoon, we’ll hike approximately 1 hour up to Rainbow Mountain with an elevation gain of 1,600 feet, positioning ourselves for a perfect sunset shoot.
Return to Camp for Dinner and Rest: After sunset, we’ll hike back to camp, enjoy a warm dinner, and settle in for an early night’s rest, preparing for the next day's photography adventure.

DAY 4 ALQATARY - RAINBOW MOUNTAIN SUNRISE - RED VALLEY - CUSCO

Pre-Dawn Hike to Rainbow Mountain: Begin early, hiking in the dark with headlamps as we make our way to the top of Rainbow Mountain for a breathtaking sunrise.
Sunrise Arrival at Rainbow Mountain: Reach the summit just as the first light breaks over the colorful landscape, creating perfect conditions for sunrise photography.
Capturing Sunrise Photography: With changing light illuminating the mountain’s colors, capture multiple compositions and angles for unforgettable shots.
Hike Through the Red Valley: After Rainbow Mountain, we continue through the stunning Red Valley, known for its rich red hues and sweeping panoramic views.
Lunch at Campsite with Scenic Views: Return to the campsite for a well-deserved lunch, surrounded by spectacular mountain views, offering even more photography opportunities.
Return to Cusco: After lunch, we’ll drive back to Cusco, with drop-off at your hotel in the afternoon.
