Experience the thrill of camping in the wilderness and waking up to breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. This trip offers a unique opportunity to capture the awe-inspiring views of seven stunning lakes, surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks, rugged landscapes with ever-changing landscapes, dazzling turquoise glacier lakes, wandering alpacas, and valleys of red mountains. Itinerary

DAY 1 CUSCO - UPIS - UPIS LAKE

  • Pick up at your hotel at 8 a.m.
  • Drive east of Cusco to Upis village; the hike to the camp is 3 hours or 5 miles.
  • Upis Campsite awaits with cooking activities and a homemade lunch.
  • A relaxing afternoon with a fire to roast marshmallows or scout for the day's photo composition (Take it easy on the first day to get used to the altitude.)

DAY 2 UPIS - SEVEN LAKES - NINA PARAYOC CAMPSITE

  • Early wake-up to start shooting the sunrise from the campsite
  • After a delicious breakfast, we must start hiking for 3 hours until we reach the first lake (Azul q'ocha).
  • Lunch by the beautiful lake, nap before the hike if necessary
  • Once at the first lookout by the three lakes of Ninaparayoc, we reached the best spot to explore and scout for the best composition for the afternoon.
  • Afternoon photoshoot until blue hour, then dinner and sleep in preparation for the early hike the next day.

DAY 3 NINAPARAYOC - RED LAKE - CUSCO

  • 3am hike to reach the Red Lake
  • We spent the entire morning photographing the various lakes in the area.
  • A warm breakfast will be delivered by our team and chef.
  • Pack up, and two more lakes await us before lunch.
  • Lunch at the Pacchanta
  • Take photos all the way back to Pacchanta Hot Springs.
  • Return to Cusco and drop off at your hotel.
